Nursery worker
Those serving in the nursery begin receiving children (birth – 2 years) at 8:50 am on Sunday mornings (so parents can get to the worship service by 9:00 am) and care for them until the end of Next Steps classes (around 11:30 am). Nursery workers hold, feed, and play with the babies and toddlers, change diapers, read books, and page parents when needed.
Toddler care worker
Toddler care workers start serving at 8:50 am on Sunday mornings and care for toddlers and preschoolers (2 – 4 years) through the end of the worship gathering (around 10:15 am). Workers offer simple Bible lessons, songs, structured play with loving adults, and snacks.
Children’s Next Steps teacher
Teach children age 4 – grade 8 from 10:15 – 11:30am on Sunday mornings, using curriculum and supplies provided by MJMC. Interact with children in ways that let them know they are loved and help them learn to know our great, good God.
Pioneer Clubs volunteer
Teach Bible lessons, lead activities, or simply be a walking leader for a particular age group of children on Wednesday nights September through February from 6:30 – 8:00pm.
